Risk Management Programs
HCM's Risk Management Programs are conservative, longer-term risk asset allocation-oriented management programs for mutual fund and VA investors.
Management Strategy
The Risk Management Programs add an additional layer of management oversight to a client's mutual fund or VA investment.
HCM’s Risk Management Systems are designed to keep portfolio’s “in-tune” with market conditions at all times. While there are never any guarantees in investing, HCM strives to reduce exposure to risk during severe market declines.
The Process of Adding HCM to a Client's Fund or Variable Annuity
Once a client has invested in a fund or variable annuity HCM is approved to manage, HCM is then given discretionary authority (via our investment management agreement) to move the account between the fund family or VA separate accounts chosen by the client.
Please note that Heritage has no input or involvement in the purchase of mutual funds and/or variable annuities and is not compensated in any way with regard to the purchase of a mutual fund or variable annuity. HCM's revenue is based only on the fees charged for the management of the funds or variable annuity chosen by the client.
Account Type & Securities Utilized:
Direct Ownership of Variable Annuity Contracts and Mutual Funds. Assets are in client’s name and client retains all indicia of ownership. Securities used in the program include traditional Mutual Funds and VA separate accounts.
See your HCM Representative for available programs.
