Economic Update: Weekly Jobless Claims
Initial Claims for Unemployment Insurance for the week ending 2/11 fell by 13,000 to 348K.
The reported total was below the consensus estimate for 366K and also last week’s revised total of 361k.
Continuing Claims for the week ending 2/4 came in at 3.515M vs. consensus of 3.518M.
